I'm currently spending my days as a copywriter at Browns Shoes and building Vainqueur ā an editorial platform designed to be a leading cultural barometer for Canadian fashion, lifestyle and entertainment. In my spare time, I collect old vinyl records and travel through my camcorder.
I live in Montreal, Quebec, after spending a few years between West Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa and Toronto (home).
Some of my most passionate storytelling was at the Toronto Star, where I dedicated most of my reporting to Little Jamaica - provoking the city to change its status to a cultural district. Iām even featured in a coffee table book about it! I've had the pleasure of working creatively for Tastemakers Africa and a few startups that allowed me to travel and produce content across Africa. I have a certificate in data analytics from BrainStation and previously attended the University of Guelph Humber, where I studied journalism, art and media studies.
